T7 promoter primer Forward is a primer used in polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to amplify DNA sequences. It is a forward primer that attaches to the start codon of the template DNA (the anti-sense strand). The T7 promoter primer Forward is designed to bind to the T7 promoter sequence (5′-TAA TAC GAC TCA CTA TAG GG-3′). The T7 promoter is a widely used promoter sequence that drives transcription of DNA into RNA.

The T7 promoter primer Forward is used in conjunction with a reverse primer to amplify DNA sequences using PCR. The reverse primer attaches to the stop codon of the complementary strand of DNA (the sense strand). The 5′ ends of both primers bind to the 3′ end of each DNA strand.
